The Maneater boss is the second boss in the Fool’s Idol Archstone or Tower of Latria. Before I reached him, I spent a couple of hours because I was lost in the area.

Maneater is tricky, and its attack patterns are hard to read and memorize. It’s a good thing I built my character’s level so I can take most of its attacks. Maneater frequently flies away from the scene, so you must watch out when it returns. When it lands, that’s the opening I am looking for, so I attack it until my stamina runs out.

After a couple of attacks, Maneater will split into two, so my strategy to beat it is to focus on one boss first. Later on, it will fly frequently, so the best option is to use range attacks or a spell when it is on air. My character uses a sword and shield, so I will wait for Maneater to go down before I resume attacking it again.

Keep this strategy and your HP high; you will eventually beat this boss.
