The much awaited Steam Spring Sale 2025 is now here, offering thousands of discounted games for a limited time. The sale will run from March 13, until March 20, 2025. This is your chance to buy and increase your backlogs!
During the sale, you can explore a vast array of discounted games. I’d like to share with you some of the games I am eyeing. Please note that prices listed here are in Philippine Pesos (PHP); you can also check the price in your currency if you’re living in a different country.
List of Games on Sale on Steam
Here are some of the games I am looking forward to play. Majority of them are years old, because these games are on my backlogs list. I highly recommend logging in and check out the game you wish to buy and play.
To make the most of the Steam Spring Sale 2025, follow these steps:
- Create a Steam account: If you haven't already, sign up for a Steam account. It is free and easy to create. Just sign up, verify your email address, link a debit or credit card, and you’re good to go, and you can access a huge library of sale games!
- Check the Steam store: Regularly visit the Steam store to discover new deals and discounts. I do this regularly
- Follow Steam's social media: Stay updated on the latest news and announcements from Steam. I follow Facebook because it’s my primary social media platform, but you can follow them on others:
What games did I buy?
To be honest, I have so much on my backlogs (around 100+ games), so I don’t plan to buy a few games. However, there’s an upcoming 12% VAT in my region beginning June, so I guess it time to at least purchase a few, so I can save a few bucks.

- Final Fantasy XIII

- Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII
- Resident Evil Revelations 2 (Full game)
As of the moment, I am enjoying Persona 5 Royal on my daughter’s pink Nintendo Switch Lite. This game’s a true gem! After I finish the main story, I will play again Lies of P and continue my journey on Elden Ring. It has been paused for a year now. I am also ready to get stressed and sharpen my parrying and dodging skills, lol! 😅
Steam will implement 12% VAT on games effective June 1, 2025
This is a not-so-good news for gamers, because 12% will be added on the games that we’re about to purchase. This means games in the Philippines will be pricier. If you want to save more, then I strongly suggest you buy those games on your wish list and capitalize the ongoing Steam Spring Sale!

Mark your calendars for upcoming sale dates, including the Steam Summer Sale (June 26 - July 10, 2025) and the Steam Winter Sale (December 18, 2025 - January 5, 2026). It's now time to save a few hundreds so you can take advantage of these incredible deals!
